I remember this song being played by Mr. A-Z during his concert here in Manila last year. I didn’t mind what the song conveys during that time. I was too amazed on how he played his guitar(s) - on how very passionate he is on his craft. I was too mesmerized on how beautiful his voice is - the sweetest melody I have ever heard by far. 

I didn’t mind the words until I heard it again today.  Only this time, I hear “his” voice playing the song. 

I had to learn what I’ve got, and what I am not, and who I am.

We’ve got a lot to learn. God knows we’re worth it.

So please be patient, love. Don’t give up on us. ‘Cos I’m trying my hardest to fight this. I won’t give up.

(This has been on my drafts since Tuesday. I cannot seem to find the right words to say. The thoughts in my head had been crazy lately. I guess putting up a mask and hiding what’s really inside you is the hardest. /emo)
